Kurozakura means “Black Sakura”, a name that reflects the contrast of black denim with a pink selvedge.

Every detail of this jacket is tied to the concept of Sakura. It all started with the selvedge, and from there each element was developed to honor that symbol: the custom buttons feature five sakura flowers, while the rivets are each shaped as a single sakura flower, and on the inside there is a print of a blooming cherry tree.

In Japanese culture, sakura represent the beauty of impermanence. Their blossom lasts only for a brief moment before the petals fall.
