Inspired by U.S. Army 5-Button High Neck Sweater. Originally designed as a practical military layer, its five-button high neck gave soldiers a simple way to regulate warmth: fully closed in colder conditions, or opened up during marches and more intense physical activity. 

Our version is made in Italy in a heavy gauge 5 wool and cashmere knit, preserving the compact, structured character of the original while giving it a softer hand.
